Hakhel, a not-for-profit volunteer
organization, was formed in Flatbush in 5755 for the
express purpose of uniting our communities through the
study of Torah, acts of Chesed and the proper
performance of Mitzvos. Thus far, Hakhel has
accomplished its goals through, B'EH, hundreds of public
shiurim, including various Yarchei Kallah programs on
legal holidays, large scale public gatherings on
practical halachic and hashkafic topics and publication
of numerous works on a regular basis. Hakhel
annually publishes a Master Gemach List, issues daily
Community Awareness Bulletins, and has established the
Yeshiva Mordechai HaTzadik on Purim nationwide.
Hakhel's affiliate, the V'Ani Tefillah Foundation, has a
mission to increase the awareness of the importance and
power of tefilla and to provide education, inspiration
and tools for more sincere, powerful and effective
tefilla.
